Shreygan Crafts

We set up Shreygan Crafts at 6 Sahar, near the 8th Mile Circle on Tumkur Road. Being in Yash Avenue puts us in a spot that sees a lot of traffic. We spend our hours working on different craft items. It is hands-on work and we usually have materials spread out all over the tables. It’s not the neatest place, but it’s where things get made. We’ve been around this part of Tumkur Road for a while and have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep doing our thing. Sometimes things don't go right on the first try, so we have to adjust. That is just how making things goes. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us in the workshop. Most of our work is done right here at the bench. It’s a quiet enough life, except for the noise from the main road. We use various tools and materials every day. It feels good to finish something and set it aside on the shelf. We’re just regular people trying to make a living with our hands in this little corner of the city. Sometimes we get a bit stuck on a design and have to walk around the circle at 8th Mile just to clear our heads. The Yash Avenue area has changed since we first moved in, with more buildings going up all the time. But inside our shop, things stay pretty much the same. We have our favorite tools that have been used so much the handles are worn down. It’s a comfortable place for us to work.
