Shreyam Printers

I've been running Shreyam Printers from this spot in Byculla for a while now. We are up on the second floor, unit 208/A, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the stairs. It’s mostly just paper and machines up here. I started this because I knew how to handle the presses and people always need things printed out. Sometimes the machines act up or the ink takes longer to dry than I’d like, but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. We handle whatever comes through the door. It’s a busy area in Byculla so there’s always noise from the street coming up through the windows. I don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure the jobs get done. If you come by, just head up to the second floor. The lighting in the hallway isn't great but the unit is easy enough to spot once you're there. We deal with all sorts of paper stocks and sizes. It gets dusty with all the paper scraps, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. It isn't a fancy office with leather chairs. It's a workspace. We spend most of the day standing by the machines or checking proofs. People from around the neighborhood drop by mostly. I like being in this part of town because everything is close. That's about it for us. We just keep working until the orders are finished.
