Shreeji Fine Chem

Shreeji Fine Chem is down on the ground floor of Mogi Niwas, which is at 78/80 V.V Chandan Street. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how much activity there is from morning until night. It’s a crowded spot, and we are right in the thick of it. Our space is functional, filled with bags and containers of different chemicals that we supply. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush chairs or a fancy lobby. We have a couple of wooden desks and a lot of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. The light inside is a bit dim because the buildings are so close together, so we keep the tube lights on all day. Most of the time, we are busy responding to inquiries or checking the weight on a scale near the door. The sound of handcarts and scooters going past the entrance is constant. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the movement, so we spend a fair amount of time sweeping out the front. We have a small corner for the water cooler where everyone stops for a chat. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a big delivery comes in, but we’ve learned how to stack things to make the most of the room we have. It’s just a normal day-to-day grind for us here in the city.
