Shree Vrindavan Bhavan Khichdi Samrat Restaurant

We have been running Shree Vrindavan Bhavan Khichdi Samrat Restaurant for a while now at 44/46 Matra Samaj Building. It is right on V P Road, just across from Rambaug Wadi at Cawasji Patel Tank. Most people around here know the spot because it’s a busy corner in Mumbai. We mostly focus on khichdi and simple meals that people eat every day. It is not a fancy place with decorations, just tables and chairs where you can sit and eat without much fuss. The kitchen is always going because there is a lot of foot traffic near the tank. We get people finishing work or just passing through 400004. Sometimes it gets crowded and loud, but that is how it is in this part of town. We try to keep things moving so nobody waits too long for their plate. The menu is small because we prefer doing what we know. You might have seen us while walking toward the temple or the market nearby. It is easy to find if you are looking for the old building. We open early and stay open until the evening rush is over. People come here when they want something that tastes like home food. There is no big secret to what we do, we just cook and serve what is on the list for the day. It’s a plain place, nothing more.
