Shree Sharda Printing Press

Shree Sharda Printing Press is located on the ground floor of Building No 59 in Kalbadevi. If you know Mumbai at all, you know that Kalbadevi is a very old and very crowded area, full of history and small businesses. We’ve been here for a long time, and our press is right in the middle of all that activity. The ground floor location is handy because paper and printing equipment are heavy, and we are moving things in and out all day. You can usually hear the sound of the machines running from the street. It’s a bit of a noisy place to work, but we are used to it by now. The air smells like ink and paper, which is just how a printing press should be. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; we are right where the work happens. We focus on getting the jobs done as they come in. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have big orders to finish. We don’t use any corporate talk or have a big sales team. People just come to us because they know we are here in Building No 59. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. We take pride in just doing the job right and keeping the machines maintained. It’s a traditional way of working in a very traditional part of the city, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
