Shree Ramdev Mobile Shop

Shree Ramdev Mobile Shop is right in the heart of Mahim Main Bazaar Sector 52 6. If you know the bazaar, you know it’s a chaotic place with people and carts everywhere. Our shop is just one of many, but we have our own spot at Sector 52 6. The shelves are packed with boxes of mobile phones and all the bits that go with them. It gets very dusty because of the open front and the wind blowing through the bazaar. We are constantly dusting the boxes. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. The floor is swept every morning, but by noon it’s messy again. That’s just life in a busy market. We talk to all sorts of people, from students looking for a cheap phone to older folks who need help figuring out how to send a message. We don't use any fancy language or try to push people into buying things they don't want. We just tell them what each phone does. The shop is a bit dark towards the back, so we have some extra tube lights hanging there. It's a practical setup for a busy area like Mahim. We stay open as long as the market is active, usually until the street lights come on and everyone starts heading home for the night.
