Shree Premix Industries

We are set up at 104, Corporate Avenue, right near Udyog Bhawan on Sanawala Lane in Goregaon West. Even though the building name sounds a bit formal, our day-to-day is pretty hands-on. We deal with industrial premixes, so there is a lot of measuring and mixing going on. The area around Goregaon West is always packed, and finding a spot for deliveries can be a real challenge sometimes. We spend a lot of our time in the back where the actual work happens. It’s not a quiet office environment. You can usually hear the sound of the equipment or people moving bags around. We keep a small office space for the bills and orders, but we’d rather be out making sure the mixes are coming out right. We aren't a massive factory, just a focused group of people doing our job in this corner of Mumbai. The lane outside is often crowded with other businesses, so there is always a lot of noise and activity. We have been here long enough to know the rhythms of the street. It gets hot in the afternoons, and the fans never seem to be enough. We just keep our heads down and get through the production schedule. It’s practical, repetitive work that needs to be done correctly. We don't put on any acts; we are just here to do the work we know how to do.
