Shree Nakoda Goods

This place is Shop No 1 in the Riddhi Siddhi housing society in Dahisar. It’s a pretty straightforward setup for handling goods. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. It’s just the shop floor and a lot of boxes. Dahisar is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s home. The building is one of those typical housing complexes where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We start early in the morning, usually when the milkman is still making his rounds. Moving stuff around can be tiring, and my back usually feels it by the end of the week. We have a small table where we keep the register and some old files. Sometimes the kids from the society play cricket right outside, and we have to tell them to move so we can get a delivery in. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting larger items through the door, but we manage somehow. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that I’ve stopped noticing. We don’t have any fancy mission or anything. We just take in the goods, sort them out, and make sure they get where they need to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sundays are for resting and cleaning up the dust that always seems to settle on the shelves.
