Shree Mewad Hindu Hotel

You will find Shree Mewad Hindu Hotel on the ground floor of PeerBhoy Terrace, which is Plot No 104/B102. We are located on Shankarsheth Marg in Charni Road. A good landmark is the Central Plaza Cinema, which is right nearby. Being in this part of Mumbai means we deal with a lot of foot traffic, especially when a movie is letting out or when people are walking to the station. Our space is on the ground floor, so it is easy to just step inside from the busy sidewalk. The building is older, which gives the place a bit of character, though it means we are always fixing something or painting a wall. We serve the kind of food that reminds people of home, especially those who moved to the city from Rajasthan. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of clinking plates and the smell of spices. It can get quite hot inside during the summer, but the overhead fans keep the air moving well enough. We don't bother with fancy decorations or anything like that. The tables are sturdy and the food is served on plain plates. Most of our customers are working men who want a heavy lunch that will last them until they get home at night.
