We operate out of the 4th floor of Eastern Chambers over at 36 Dana Bunder. It is right in the heart of the shipping and transport area, which makes sense for what we do. Moving containers is a lot of coordination and timing. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and checking on schedules at the docks. Dana Bunder is always a bit chaotic with trucks and people everywhere, but we are used to it by now. The office isn't anything special—just a bunch of desks, some old computers, and plenty of ledgers. We do not really do fancy meetings. Most of our business happens over the phone or with someone sticking their head in the door to check on a load. It is a tough business sometimes, especially when there are delays at the port or traffic is backed up for miles. We just take it one day at a time. The guys who work here have been around the blocks a few times and know how the system works. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to keep the containers moving so everyone stays happy. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but it is what we know. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at the paperwork in front of us. It is just the way things go in the transport business.
