Shree Hari Chemicals Export Ltd is based over on Sv Road in Goregaon West. We are right near the Kamat Club, which is a big local landmark that helps people find us. If you know Sv Road, you know how crazy the traffic can be at almost any time of the day. Our office is in a building that has seen better days, but it serves us well enough for what we need. Since we focus on the export side of things, our day is often dictated by time zones and shipping schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people at the ports or talking to agents overseas. It is a small, busy space filled with the sound of printers and people talking over each other. There is no central air conditioning in some parts, so we rely on the old ceiling fans to keep the air moving during the humid Mumbai afternoons. We usually go out to the small shops nearby for Vada Pav or cutting chai during our breaks. The work involves a lot of documentation, checking containers, and making sure the labels are all correct. It is a lot of fine detail work that can be quite tiring at the end of the day. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you just see people working hard at their desks. It is a bit chaotic sometimes, but we have a system that works and we keep moving.
