Shree Gujar Sutar Vishwakarma Baug

Shree Gujar Sutar Vishwakarma Baug is located at 36/37 in Vile Parle West. We are right by the Nakhathe Market and not too far from the Sanyas Ashram. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Vile Parle can get. Our place is a community space where a lot of local events happen. We have a hall that gets used for all sorts of things, from small family gatherings to community meetings. It’s an older building, and you can tell by the way the walls and floors look. We don’t have fancy decorations or modern designs; it’s just a solid, functional space for people to gather. Most days, we are busy cleaning up after one event or setting up chairs for the next one. The market nearby means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our doors. We’ve been here for many years, and most of the families in the area have been inside our gates at some point. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the rooms and the courtyard. The fans are always going, and the staff is usually seen carrying stacks of chairs or sweeping the main hall. It’s a very local, down-to-earth place that serves the community in a simple way. We just keep the doors open and the space ready for whoever needs it. Some of the windows are a bit stiff, but they let in the air.
