Shree Ganesh Engineering Works

Our workshop is tucked away in Gala No A 3 /4 A, inside the Om Shakti building. We are located in Santacruz East, on 8th Main and 13th Cross. It’s quite close to the Grand Hyatt, though our place is a lot more basic than that hotel. Shree Ganesh Engineering Works is a place where there’s always something being welded, cut, or filed down. It’s noisy and there are usually metal shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We started this small unit because we like making things and fixing what’s broken. We take on all sorts of engineering jobs, from small repairs for neighbors to bigger parts for local businesses. The space is a bit cramped with all the machinery, but we manage. You’ll usually find us in greasy overalls because that’s the only way to get the work done. We don’t have a sales team or a fancy brochure. People usually find us because someone told them we could fix their problem. We just try to do a solid job and charge a fair price. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’ve been doing it for years and it’s what we know best. The walls are covered in shadows from all the tools hanging up, and the floor is stained with oil that won't ever come out. We don't have a computer to track every single nail; we just know our stock by looking at the shelves.
