We have been based in the Masjid Bunder West area for a long time. Our address is 101/103, right in the middle of all the daily trade activity. This part of the city is always moving, with trucks, carts, and porters everywhere you look. Our office is right there in the thick of it all. It is a practical place, built specifically for handling transport and logistics work. We do not have any decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few maps to help us plan. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and making sure the loads are ready to move out. The noise from the street is constant, but you really get used to it after a week or two of working here. We are not a big corporate shipping firm with a massive call center. It is just a few of us at our desks, taking calls and writing out bills of lading. People stop by all the time to check on their goods or to ask us about our current rates. We keep it simple and just give them a straight answer. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the street outside, and there is almost always a half-empty tea glass sitting somewhere. It is a tough business sometimes, trying to keep everything on schedule, but we have been doing it long enough to know all the tricks. We just show up every day and get the trucks moving. There is not much more to it than that.
