Shree Durga Bhuvan Restaurant

Our restaurant is in the Princess Building on Ramchand Bhatt Marg. It is right opposite J. J. Hospital in Dongri. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets. There is always an ambulance siren or someone rushing by. We have been here for a long time, serving the people who visit the hospital and the locals who live in the old buildings around here. The space is quite small, like most places in Dongri, so you might have to share a table if it is crowded. We don't have any fancy interiors. It is just the same old walls and the same old recipes we have used forever. The kitchen is always steaming, and the waiters have to move fast to get through the narrow gaps between tables. We open early because people at the hospital need breakfast, and we stay open until late at night. It is a lot of noise and a lot of work, but we are used to the rhythm of the city. We don't bother with advertising because the location itself keeps us busy enough. It is just a simple place for a quick meal. My father ran this place before me, and not much has changed since then. We just keep serving food and trying to keep up with the rush. Sometimes we run out of space to store things, so we have to get fresh supplies delivered every single morning to keep the kitchen running properly.
