Running a transport business from Andheri East keeps us on our toes. We are located at Gala No 2 in the Sethia Nagar Stop area, right on the 90-foot road. Being near Quality Bakery is a bit of a problem because it always smells so good when we are trying to work. Our day usually starts very early, often before the sun is even up, getting the trucks ready and checking the logs. The traffic around Andheri is no joke, so we spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where everyone is. It’s a lot of paperwork, lifting, and making sure the drivers know the routes. The gala itself is packed with boxes and gear. It isn't a spotless office; there are grease stains and stacks of delivery notes everywhere. We’ve had some long nights here when a shipment is late or a truck breaks down nearby. That’s just the nature of the transport life. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. Most of our regular customers just call us directly because they know we’re usually around the gala or out on the road. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth in the neighborhood has kept us going. It’s a tough business with tight margins, but we’ve managed to stay in this spot for a good while now. We just try to get the goods where they need to go without much fuss.
