Shree Arihant Roadlines

Our office is up on the 1st floor of the Chatrabhuj Khetshi Building. Shree Arihant Roadlines is what we call ourselves. Dana Bunder is a place that never really sleeps. There are always laborers moving sacks and trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes. It’s a lot of chaos, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time looking out the window at the street or talking to people on the phone. Logistics is mostly about waiting and then rushing at the last minute. We have a small team here. It’s just a simple office with old wooden desks and lots of paper piled up in corners. We don't need much else to keep the roadlines moving. Karelibaug is just a short distance away, so we get a lot of work from around there too. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep if you are carrying anything. It is home for us during the day. We don't have any mission statements or things like that on the walls. Just some calendars and maybe a photo or two of family. We just try to get the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It's regular work and it keeps us on our toes. Most evenings we stay late just to make sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it is our place. We have been here at number 178 for many years now.
