Shree Ancillary Industries

You can find us at B/10 in the Giriraj Industrial Estate. We are on Mahakali Caves Road over in Andheri East. It’s a busy industrial area with lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. Shree Ancillary Industries is where we make parts and bits for other companies. We have a few machines running and it can get pretty loud during the afternoon shift. There is usually grease on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the back or the side door if they need to talk to us. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big order to finish. We’ve been in this estate for a long time and know most of our neighbors. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with loading stuff. It’s a practical environment. We don’t spend money on decorating the walls or buying new furniture. We’d rather keep the machines in good shape. My clothes usually have a few stains by the end of the day but that’s just how it goes here. We make sure the parts are done right so they fit wherever they are supposed to go. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just stay focused on the work at hand and get things out the door.
