Shobha

Shobha is based at number 56, right next to Shreeji Industrial in Jogeshwari. If you know the industrial patches in Jogeshwari, you know they can be quite crowded and gray. Our building is right there in the mix of it all. We have been here for a good amount of time. Every morning, the sounds of the machinery from the industrial estate start up, and that’s how we know it’s time to get to work. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a workspace where we keep things organized as best as we can. The floor is concrete and we have some wooden shelves that have seen better days. Jogeshwari is a busy hub, so there is always something happening on the street outside. Delivery vans are always backing in and out of the lanes, which makes it a bit tight for cars to pass. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner of the room. Most of our day is spent checking things and making sure the counts are right. We don't have much in the way of signs, just the number 56 on the door. It’s a practical spot for us to be because it’s close to everything we need for the business. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a real place where real work happens every day without any fuss. It's our home away from home.
