Our agency is based in Sethia Nagar, right along the 90 Feet Road in Andheri East. We are situated near the 3rd Cross on Devasandra Main Road, which is directly opposite to the Quality Bakery. Having the bakery right there is actually a bit of a problem because the smell of fresh bread always makes us hungry while we are trying to work. This place is mostly about logistics and moving goods from one point to another. Our office is a simple room where we keep track of the trucks and the drivers. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks and the phone never really stops ringing with people asking where their delivery is. It gets quite hectic, especially in the evenings when the drivers are coming back or getting ready to head out for long trips. We deal with all the usual transport headaches like traffic jams, flat tires, and engine troubles that happen at the worst possible times. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just some chairs for the drivers to sit and have tea while they wait for their next load. The 90 Feet Road is always loud with horns and heavy vehicles, so it’s a very active environment to be in. We just try to keep things organized so that nothing gets lost and the goods arrive more or less on time. It’s a lot of coordination and talking on the mobile phone all day.
