Shivam Swad Hotel

Shivam Swad Hotel is located at A/10 on Begur Road in Nehru Nagar. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s more of a simple eatery than a big hotel, despite the name. We focus on getting food out to people who are working or living nearby. The kitchen is always going from early morning until we close up at night. Begur Road stays pretty busy with traffic, so we get a lot of people stopping in for a quick meal because they’re passing through. It’s a noisy area, and our place reflects that sometimes. We have basic tables and chairs, nothing fancy at all. We do the cooking ourselves and keep the menu pretty limited so we can keep things moving. We don't have a big waitstaff, just a couple of us handling the orders and the cleaning. Sometimes the sink gets backed up or we run out of a certain dish by lunchtime, but that’s just how it goes in a small business. We like being in Nehru Nagar because it feels like a real community. People aren't looking for a five-star experience; they just want a plate of food that tastes okay and doesn't cost too much. We keep the shutters open and the fans running even when it gets hot. It’s a lot of work every day, but we’re used to the routine by now. It is what it is.
