Shivam Chemical

We’ve been running Shivam Chemical here at Parimal Apartment for a while now. If you know Shop No 7/A on the Kondhwa Bibvewadi Road, that’s where you’ll find us. It gets pretty busy around Andheri West, but we manage. Most days it’s just about keeping the stock organized and making sure everything is where it needs to be when people come by. Dealing with chemicals means you have to be careful with the paperwork and how things are stored in the shop. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a regular local spot. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we’re used to it. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no fancy office setup here, just shelves and the counter. People from the neighborhood stop in mostly. We try to keep the place tidy, though with drums and containers everywhere, it’s a constant job. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get hectic. It's funny how you get to know everyone on the street after a few years. We don't do much advertising. Usually, someone just tells a friend where we are or they see the sign while walking past. The weather gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. I remember when we first moved into Parimal Apartment, the road was a bit quieter then. Now it’s just non-stop. We spend a lot of time just sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street.
