Shirodkar Health Care

Shirodkar Health Care is tucked away on Datt Ram Marg in Chinchpokli. If you know where the Lalbagh Ganpati is, then you are pretty much in the right neighborhood. The street is always busy, especially during the festival times when everything just stops. Our place isn't some giant hospital; it’s a local health care spot where people from the nearby chawls and apartments come when they aren't feeling well. The Mumbai 400011 area has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of a fan and people waiting their turn. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy waiting rooms. It’s just a few chairs and the smell of antiseptic. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work is what matters. Datt Ram Marg can get very crowded with people walking to the station or the market. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It feels like being part of the family for some of the folks living around here. We open the doors, let the air in, and see who needs help that day. It’s honest work in a part of the city that still feels like old Mumbai. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide a place for health care right here in Chinchpokli near the big Ganpati.
