We are located in the Sutaria Building on Dhanji Street. It’s in the Parsi Gully area of Zaveri Bazar. To find us, you have to go up to the third floor, at plot number 79. Zaveri Bazar is a maze, and Parsi Gully is no different. It’s narrow and always full of people carrying bags and moving fast. We handle antique jewellery, so our office is filled with all sorts of old-style pieces that we work on. It’s a bit of a dusty old building, but that’s typical for this part of town. We’ve been here quite some time. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to them, but it’s part of the experience. Our workspace is small and crowded with tools and boxes. We aren't looking to be the flashiest place in the market. We just like the history of the items we handle. Most of our clients have been coming to this same street for years. They know exactly which door to knock on. We usually have the radio playing or some music in the background while we work. It keeps the atmosphere light. It’s a very specific kind of life, working in the heart of the gold market. There is a lot of noise, a lot of tea, and a lot of familiar faces. We wouldn’t have it any other way. The Sutaria building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s full of history. We have some old photos on the wall from when we first moved in.
