Sher-E-Punjab Restaurant

Our restaurant, Sher-E-Punjab, is located at 262-264 Shahid Bhagat Singh Road. This is the 400001 area of Mumbai, so you know it is a place that never really stops. The road outside is always full of cars, taxis, and people walking very fast. We have a modest setup here. It is not one of those polished places you see in the glossy magazines. We have our tables and our kitchen, and we just do our work every day. The building is old, like many others in this part of the city. We don't try to hide that fact. It gives the place a certain feel that you don't get in new buildings. We see all kinds of people, from office workers to tourists looking around. Everyone is looking for a decent meal without too much fuss. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team working for us. It is just us. We have had the same staff for a long time. They know how to handle the lunch rush when everyone comes in at once. It gets hot and it gets loud, but that is just Mumbai for you. We just keep the fans going and the water bottles filled up. If you are walking down Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, you will see our front door. It is a plain looking place but we have been here long enough to be part of the street.
