B. D. Bangles

We are based at 110 Om Golden Premises Cos on the 1st floor. The building is at 37 Sheikh Memon Street. B. D. Bangles has been in this spot for a while. It’s a busy street, so there is always a lot of shouting and moving around outside. Being on the first floor helps us stay a little bit away from the direct noise of the pavement, but not much. Our space is filled with boxes and samples. We don't have a lot of room for wandering around. It’s mostly just shelves and a small area to talk to people. Sheikh Memon Street is famous for being crowded, so we are used to the hustle. Sometimes it’s hard to get deliveries through the front door because of the crowds. We spend our time checking the quality of the bangles and getting orders ready to go out. It isn't a high-end boutique with carpets and mirrors. It's more of a functional workspace where we pack things and keep records. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop working long enough to do it. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep us cool. It's just a regular local business. We know the other shop owners in the building and we help each other out when we can.
