Shehnaz Transport Services

We have been sitting in Shop 34 at Shaheen Bazar for quite some time. It is right near the Bandra West bus depot, so there is always a lot of noise and people running around outside. Our daily life is mostly about moving stuff from one point to another. It could be a whole house or just a few heavy boxes that someone cannot carry on their own. We do not have a big corporate setup. It is just us and the trucks. Sometimes the traffic in Bandra makes us late, which is frustrating, but we do what we can. People come by the shop after getting off the bus to ask about prices. We talk to them, figure out the distance, and see if we have a driver free for the day. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we sit under the fan and wait for the next call to come in. The walls of the shop could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Most of our work comes from families moving nearby or small shops needing supplies delivered. We know the shortcuts around the depot to avoid the worst of the jams. It is a simple business. We do not use any fancy apps or systems, just a notebook and some grit. Every day is different depending on who walks through the door. We just keep the vehicles running and hope for clear roads. We often have tea with the guys from the nearby stalls while waiting.
