Shashimeet Agri Broker

Shashimeet Agri Broker is tucked away in the Raghuleela Mega Mall in Kandivali West. It’s kind of funny having an agri-business office in a big mall, but Office 21 on the first floor works out well for us. We’re right near the Poisar Depot, so there are always buses moving around outside. Being a broker means we spend almost the entire day on the phone or sending messages. We connect people who have crops with people who need them. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of negotiating prices that seem to change every hour. It gets loud in here sometimes when everyone is on a call at once. We don't actually grow the stuff ourselves; we just make sure it gets from point A to point B. The mall has its own rhythm, with shoppers coming in later in the day, but we start much earlier when the markets open. It can be stressful when a deal falls through at the last minute, but that’s just part of the brokerage life. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of chargers for our phones. We don't have a flashy setup. It’s just a practical space for us to do our business. Most of our clients we’ve known for a long time, so we just talk to them like old friends. It’s a busy life here in Kandivali, but we’ve gotten used to the noise and the fast pace. We just take it day by day.
