Sharda Logistics

Our office is on the 4th floor of Sterling Chamber. The address is 410, 57/59 Dana Bunder on Poona Street. Being up on the fourth floor means we get away from some of the street noise, but Dana Bunder is always a hub of activity. Logistics is a fast-moving business, even when we are just sitting behind a desk. We spend a lot of time on the computer and the phone, tracking where things are and where they need to go. There are maps and schedules pinned up on the walls, and they're usually a bit outdated because things change so fast. The lift in the building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we'd like. Our office is a bit cramped with all the paperwork we have to keep. Files are stacked in corners and on the edges of desks. It’s just how we work. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp, especially during the busy periods. Usually, there’s a hum of conversation as everyone tries to coordinate different shipments. It can be stressful when a delivery is late, but that’s just the nature of the job. We know the other tenants in Sterling Chamber pretty well. It’s a professional but lived-in space. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to get the work done correctly every day.
