Sharas Crafts N Decor

Our workshop is based in Ghatkopar West, specifically in the Shiv Kripa Industrial Estate. We are in Matrichhaya Niwas, Gala number three. It’s on J.M. Mandhir Road, which is right across from Surve’s office. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Subhash Nagar, but once you find us, you’ll see we are just a small team making decor items for Sharas Crafts N Decor. The space is often cluttered with different materials we use for our crafts. We don't have a big budget for a showroom, so we just show people what we are working on right there on the shop floor. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We don't use a lot of complicated technology. Most of what we do involves simple tools and a lot of manual labor. The neighborhood is quite loud with all the other units nearby, but it keeps the energy up. We take a lunch break together and usually talk about things other than work. It’s important to us to just be ourselves and not put on a corporate act. We’ve had this spot for a while now, and the neighbors have become like friends. We don't have any grand visions for the future. We just want to keep making things that look decent and making enough to keep the shop open. It’s a practical, everyday sort of business where we just do our best. The lights flicker sometimes when the heavy machines start up, but we’re used to it and just keep on with our tasks anyway.
