I start my day early here at Gala No.4 in Madina Market. Most mornings, I’m just tidying up the shelves and checking what stock came in for Shantiram Home Appliances. Being near Kothari Estate means there is always some noise from the trucks, but you get used to it after a few years. Shree Nagar is a busy area, especially when the sun is up. We’ve been here in Saikinaka for a while now. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. Most people know us because we are right near the corner. Sometimes the rain gets quite heavy in Andheri (E), and then the market gets a bit quiet. When that happens, I just sit at the desk and catch up on some paperwork. It’s a simple life. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just the appliances and a couple of stools for people to sit on while they wait. My neighbor at the tea stall usually brings over a cup around eleven. The afternoon gets more crowded as people walk back from work. I usually stay until the lights in the market start flicking on. It’s just how things go every day. We know the regulars by name and they know where to find us. If you walk past the main gate of the estate, we are just a short walk down the row. It’s a practical spot for a business like this.
