We've been at Room No 1 for a while now. It’s on the first floor, right above the Kanji Nanji Store. Most people in Andheri East know that store, so finding us isn't too hard. We are Shanti Shipping Agency. It’s mostly just us handling paperwork and talking to people about cargo and containers. The office isn't very big, but it gets the job done and we have enough room for the desks and the files we need to keep. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow when we have a lot of people coming in at the same time. We spend a lot of the day on the phone or checking lists of shipments. Being in Andheri is good because everything is close by. You can hear the street noise all day, cars honking and people shouting downstairs. It’s just how it is around here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s just desks, some chairs, and plenty of files. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of paper get a bit high. Shipping is a lot of back and forth, really. We just try to stay on top of the schedules. If you’re coming from the station, you just head towards the store and look up. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It's a simple setup we’ve got going, and it works for us.
