If you look for us in Dahisar, we’re in Shop No 5 at Chandralok Apartment. It’s a neighborhood spot where people from the building and the nearby streets come by. We handle a lot of small repairs, like when a chain snaps or a ring gets too tight to wear comfortably. The shop is small, so it feels a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We’ve got some display cases with earrings and necklaces, mostly stuff for daily wear or small functions. It’s not like those big showrooms in the city; we’re much more laid back here. Sometimes the neighbors just pop their heads in to say hello while they’re out getting groceries. We spend a lot of time sitting at the bench with our tools, working under the lamp. It can get a bit dusty with all the polishing, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We’ve been part of this apartment block for quite a while now. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years, so we don’t feel the need to be all formal. We just open up in the morning, clean the glass, and wait to see who comes in. It’s a steady way to spend the day. If you’re around Dahisar, you’ll find us easily enough near the main gate of the complex. We keep things pretty simple and just try to do a good job for the folks nearby.
