Shanimaharaj Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 135 in Sasht Pimpalgaon. We are in the Ambad taluka of the Jalna district, right in the heart of the farming country here. We named the company after Shani Maharaj because of our local traditions. Our office is just a part of a house in the village where we sit down to handle the business of the farm. It is a dusty area, and things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. We like it that way. Most of our members are just regular farmers who have been working the land in Sasht Pimpalgaon for a long time. We decided that working as a group was the only way to deal with the markets these days. It is hard to get a fair price when you are just one person, so we joined up. We do not have any fancy equipment in the office, just the basics to keep track of who is growing what. There is always someone dropping by to talk about the latest government rules or to complain about the pests in the cotton. We are just a group of local guys trying to help each other out and keep our village thriving. It is a simple life and a simple business.
