Shailendra Education Societys Computer Centre

You can find our computer centre on Shailendra Vidalaya Marg in Dahisar. It’s part of the Shailendra Education Society, so we share the general area with the school. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we have students coming in for various computer courses throughout the day. Some are school kids, and others are older people looking to learn some basic tech skills. The centre has several rows of computers and we try to keep the hardware in good shape. It’s not a fancy tech hub, just a practical place to learn things like typing, basic software, or programming. The rooms can get a bit stuffy when they are full, but we have fans and windows to help. We spend a lot of time showing people how to use the mouse or explaining how a specific program works. The staff here knows their way around the machines and we help out whenever someone gets stuck. Since we are in Dahisar, it’s easy for people to reach us by train or bus. We have schedules for different batches, so there’s a constant flow of people in and out. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have high-end lounges, just desks and monitors. We keep track of who is using which machine and make sure everyone gets their time. It's a busy little corner of the education society where people come to get some practical skills for their work or studies.
