Shah & Nahta Paying Guest

Our place is located on the 7th floor of the Raipur Aman Building in Kandivali West. We are quite close to the Lalji Pada Police Chowki, which is the best landmark to use if you are trying to find the building for the first time. Running a paying guest accommodation is mostly about staying organized and making sure the residents have the basic things they need. It is a residential setup, so the whole place feels much more like a regular home than a hostel or a hotel. We have all kinds of different people coming and going, mostly students or young professionals who work in the nearby offices. The apartment stays pretty active, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get ready for their day at the same time. We try our best to keep the common areas tidy, though with several people living together, there is always something that needs a bit of fixing or cleaning. Shah & Nahta is not a big corporate chain with dozens of locations. It is just this managed space where we look after the daily chores and building maintenance. We spend a lot of time talking to the tenants and making sure the water and electricity are working fine. Kandivali is a very crowded neighborhood, but being up on the 701 level gives us a nice break from the constant street noise below. It is just a plain, functional place to stay for folks who are new to the city.
