Eden Guest House & Dormitory

Our guest house is located at No 2-A Marol Maroshi Road in Andheri East. We are right opposite Seven Hills Hospital, which means we get a lot of people staying with us who are visiting relatives there. Eden Guest House & Dormitory is a busy place because of the location. We have some private rooms and then the dormitory beds for people who just need a cheap place to sleep for the night. Andheri is always loud and the traffic on Maroshi Road never seems to stop, even late at night. I spend most of my shift checking IDs and making sure the sheets are changed. It’s not a luxury hotel, just a basic spot for people on a budget. The kitchen stays busy with people making tea or heating up food they brought with them. We have to be strict about the cleaning because so many people come through here every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the common areas, but everyone usually gets along okay. I see a lot of tired faces because of the hospital across the street, so I try to keep the place as calm as I can. It is a lot of work keeping up with the laundry and the bookings, but we have a good rhythm going. It’s just a regular guest house doing its best in a busy part of Mumbai.
