Raj Paying Guest

Raj Paying Guest is at 22/A Powai Mhada Colony, right inside Hiranandani Garden. This area is always busy because of the big offices nearby. We have been here for a good while now. The rooms we have are for men who come to Mumbai for work. It’s a simple setup. Each room has a couple of beds and some metal cupboards for bags. We aren't a hotel, so don’t expect fancy things. We provide basic meals like dal, rice, and rotis. My wife usually looks after the kitchen while I handle the bookings and the maintenance. Sometimes the taps leak or the fan makes a noise, and I have to fix it. The colony is quite crowded, and parking is a real problem if you have a car. Most of our guests use the local buses or just walk to their offices in Hiranandani. We have a washing machine that everyone shares, but it’s always busy on Sundays. The water comes at fixed times, so everyone has to be quick with their showers in the morning. It can get a bit loud at night with people talking in the corridors. We just try to keep it a decent place for people to sleep. It’s a practical spot for someone who just needs a bed and doesn't want to spend too much on rent. We see a lot of people come and go every few months.
