Classic Fashions Exporters is located at 104 Neelgiri Industrial Estate on 183 T. J. Road in Sewri West. It’s one of those old industrial buildings where you have to know which floor you’re going to or you’ll get lost. We have a unit here that serves as our main workspace and storage. It’s not the most modern area, and the walls have a few scuffs from moving equipment around. We spend most of our time at the large cutting tables or checking the quality of the garments before they are bagged up. The neighborhood is very industrial, so there’s always the sound of machinery or vehicles in the background. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a receptionist to greet you. If you walk in, you’ll likely see someone busy with a measuring tape or a packing slip. We’ve been in the Sewri area for years and we like the grit of it. It’s a place where people actually work. Sometimes the elevator in the estate breaks down, and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn't fun, but we get it done. We keep things simple and don't bother with anything that doesn't help get the job finished. It’s a straightforward business and we take things as they come. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time because they know we just do the work.
