Service Engginear is over at 3/11 Hirji Govindji Chawll T. J Road Sewri Mumbai-15. If you know Mumbai, you know Sewri and how the chawls are. Hirji Govindji Chawl is one of those old-school places where the walls are thin and everyone is a neighbor. We are at 3/11 on T. J Road. It is a crowded area, but that is just Mumbai life for you. The space is small, but we have everything we need to do our work. We use the name Service Engginear, even if the spelling is a bit different. It’s what we use on our papers. The chawl life means there is always noise from the street and people talking in the corridors. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have our small spot and our tools. Most days we are busy from morning until late evening. The trains are close by, so you can always hear them in the distance. We have been in Sewri for a long time and know the area well. It is not a place for fancy business meetings. We usually just talk to people at the door or out on the road. It’s a hard-working neighborhood and we fit right in. We just focus on getting things fixed and moving on to the next thing. That is how we have always done it. There is always tea being made nearby and plenty of stories. You never feel lonely working in a place like this.
