Seedcert Organic Private Limited

Our place is over in Pune City, specifically in the Westernhill area. It’s a bit of a climb to Flat No A6 004, but we like the spot. Seedcert Organic is basically us trying to help with the whole organic side of things. Since we are in the city, we do a lot of the organizing and checking that goes into making sure seeds and products are actually what people say they are. It’s a lot of reading through documents and talking to people who are out in the fields. We aren't farmers ourselves in the traditional sense, but we spend all our time thinking about what goes into the ground. Pune is getting so crowded these days, so being in this office gives us a bit of quiet to focus on the technical bits. It's not the most exciting work if you don't like details, but for us, it feels important to have things done right. We have stacks of files and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have too many projects going on at once. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who care about how food is grown. It’s a practical way to spend our time, and we like the people we work with. Most days are just coffee and spreadsheets, and then trying to figure out the traffic in Pune on the way home, which is its own kind of struggle. It's a living, and it's something we are good at.
