Seaways Cargo Forwarders

Our office is in Maganlal Chambers, specifically Shop No 505. It is right in the middle of Masjid Bunder East, which is always a bit of a chaotic area to be in. If you are coming by train, we are just opposite the railway station. You can hear the announcements and the trains pulling in all day long. It is a busy part of the city, and things never really slow down around here. The building itself is an older one, and the stairs up to the fifth floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. Inside the shop, it is mostly just desks and files. We handle a lot of cargo forwarding stuff, so there are always papers and shipping documents everywhere. It is a small space but we make it work for us. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our energy from. Being in the Masjid area, even with the Ghatlodia mention in the records, means there is always a crowd outside. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that even walking is faster than taking a rickshaw. We have been here for a good amount of time and know the local rhythms pretty well. It is not a quiet job, and the phone rings pretty much constantly. We just stay focused on getting things moved out and making sure the paperwork is sorted for the next day. It is just us.
