Search Chem Industries is tucked away in Khar West. We are in Uniphos House, which is located on 11th Road near Madhu Park. Khar is a bit different from the rest of Mumbai. It feels a little quieter, especially near the parks like this one. Madhu Park is a nice landmark to have nearby. Uniphos House is a decent building. It’s not a glass tower or anything like that. It’s just a regular office building where we have our space and do our work. Working on 11th Road is nice because it isn't as frantic as the main highways nearby. You can actually hear yourself think sometimes, which is rare in the city. We have a pretty standard setup inside our office. There are desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and plenty of paper stacked up. We don't try to impress anyone with the office. It’s just where we do our chemistry-related business. People in the neighborhood mostly know us by the building name more than anything else. The trees around Madhu Park make the air feel a little fresher than in other parts of the city. We come in every morning, do what needs to be done, and that’s that for the day. It’s a steady kind of life here. We aren't looking to be the biggest or the loudest. We just like our spot in Khar West. It’s a comfortable place to work and it's easy enough for us to get to.
