Running Seamons Seeds Pvt. Ltd. out here in Maharashtra keeps us pretty busy through all the seasons. We mostly focus on seeds, which means our schedule follows the weather more than the clock. India is a big place, but we stay rooted here in the state. People around here know us for being straightforward about what we have in stock. It is a lot of warehouse work, honestly. We spend hours looking at bags, checking quality, and making sure nothing gets damp. The humidity can be a real pain sometimes, so we’re always watching the storage areas. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. You end up with dirt under your fingernails and a lot of paperwork on your desk by the end of the week. We talk to farmers and distributors every day, just trying to see what’s needed for the next planting cycle. Sometimes the transport trucks are late, or the rain comes at the wrong time, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't have a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just us, some sturdy desks, and a lot of seed bags. We've been doing this for a while now and have learned a thing or two about what grows well in this climate. It’s just honest work that needs doing, and we’re the ones here doing it day in and day out. We just take it one crop at a time around here and try to keep things organized as best as we can. Every day brings a new challenge but we just keep moving forward.
