We are based on the ground floor of Udyog Bhavan, right on Sonawala Road in Goregaon East. It is a busy industrial area, so there is always a truck or a tempo blocking the way. Sealed Air (India) has been in this spot for a good while. The ground floor is convenient because we do not have to deal with the elevators when we are moving things in and out. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but that is just Goregaon for you. Inside, it is mostly just desks and the sound of people working. It is not a very fancy place, just a lot of concrete and practical furniture. We have our tea breaks out on the sidewalk sometimes just to get some air. The Sonawala Road is always moving. You get used to the noise after a few days. We do not have a big marketing team here; it is mostly just the folks who handle the day-to-day operations. It is a solid building, Udyog Bhavan. It has been here a long time and so have we. The lights inside are those bright tubes that never seem to turn off. We like being on the ground floor because it feels more connected to the street. People come by, deliveries show up, and we just keep the pace. It is a straightforward way to run a business. No frills, just the work. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it.
