School Of Fine Art

The School Of Fine Art is located at Plot No 323/D-45 in Sector 3 of Kandivali West. We are in the Chinchwadgaon area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which is good for painting and drawing. Our rooms are filled with the smell of turpentine and oil paints. There are easels set up everywhere, and the floors usually have a few paint splatters on them. We don't mind the mess because that's part of learning. We teach people from the neighborhood, mostly kids after school and some adults who want a hobby. It is not a high-pressure environment. We just want people to sit down and try to create something. The light in the afternoons is quite nice for sketching. We have stacks of old canvases in the corners and shelves full of clay models that haven't been fired yet. It is a very hands-on place. We don't have a big administrative staff or a shiny brochure. Most people find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s just a simple art space where you can get your hands dirty and learn how to use a brush properly. We spend a lot of time cleaning up at the end of the day. It’s a peaceful way to spend time in Kandivali, away from all the noise of the city. We usually have some music playing quietly, something to help everyone focus on their sketches.
