Our office for SCHLUMBERGER ASIA SERVICES LTD. is tucked away at the Nse Estate, just off the Western Express Highway. It is right near the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon East, which makes it a very busy area most of the time. If there is a big event at the centre, the traffic can be a real headache, but we have learned to plan around it. We handle a lot of the technical service coordination for our regional projects from this location. It is a functional space with desks and computers, nothing too flashy or over the top. Most of the people working here are focused on the engineering and logistics side of things. We spend a lot of time on calls and dealing with paperwork for various sites across Asia. The building itself has been around for a bit, and we share the estate with several other companies. It is a convenient spot because of the highway access, even if the noise from the cars is constant. We don't spend much time on decorations or fancy furniture. The work we do is quite specialized and requires a lot of concentration. Usually, we grab lunch at one of the small places nearby or just bring something from home. It is a straightforward workplace where we just try to get through the daily tasks and make sure our field operations are supported properly. We’ve been at this Goregaon spot for many years now.
