If you know Kandivali East, you probably know Akurli Road. That is where Schiller Healthcare India Pvt Ltd is set up. Mumbai is always moving fast, and it is no different here at our place. We are right in the middle of the bustle. The office isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Between the noise from the street and the fans going, it is a busy environment. We handle a lot of medical equipment stuff every day. It is mostly about keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. Sometimes the deliveries are delayed because of the Mumbai traffic, which is just something we have to deal with. We don't have any big corporate speeches ready; we just work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. It’s a practical setup. We have a small team here, and everyone knows what they are supposed to do. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything. It is just an office where the work gets done. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for directions. We’ve been on Akurli Road long enough that we feel like we belong here. We keep a pot of tea going and just try to get through the list of things to do before the day ends. It is just our normal life in the city.
