Our place is over in the D. C. Silk Mills Compound in Andheri East. If you’ve ever tried to navigate the Kondivitta Lane near Andheri Kurla Road, you know it can be a bit of a squeeze with all the delivery vans and traffic. We are on the first floor of the A Wing in Chunawala Estate. It’s a busy spot, but it’s home for Schiller Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. We deal with medical equipment and healthcare tech, which sounds very serious, and it is, but inside the office, we’re just a bunch of regular people trying to keep things organized. Most days involve a lot of checking boxes, answering emails, and making sure things are shipping out to hospitals correctly. The building has that old Mumbai industrial feel to it, which we actually quite like compared to the new glass towers. It isn't one of those polished places you see in movies. We have a lot of files, some spare parts lying around in boxes, and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. People here know each other’s families and we usually eat lunch together when there is a break in the work. We don't have some big corporate manifesto written on the walls to impress anyone. We just come in, do the work, and try to help doctors get what they need. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, but it feels okay.
