Sayed Engineering

We operate out of Gala 10 in the Maksud Industrial Estate in Andheri East. It’s a typical industrial spot, lots of noise and the constant hum of machines from the other units. Sayed Engineering is where we spend most of our waking hours, usually with grease on our clothes. We handle various engineering jobs, mostly fixing parts or making small components that people need for their own machines. The space isn’t huge, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always look that way to an outsider. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here. You wake up, get to the estate, turn on the lights, and start on whatever is on the bench. Andheri East is always humid, so the fans are always going, but they don't do much. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us bent over a lathe or talking to a supplier on the phone. We’ve been in this gala for a while now and know all the other guys in the estate. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with heavy loads. It’s just basic engineering work, day in and day out. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the metal is cut the way it should be. It's just a regular shop doing regular work without any fancy talk.
